SOURCE: 1991 camaro switch for you low and high beams

There is a metal rod that runs down the side of steering colmn and pushes on the dimmer switch. The dimmer switch is on the steering column to the left of the steering wheel. You will have to unbolt the column where it connects to the dash and rest it (the steering wheel) on the driver seat to get to the switch.. The switch is adjustable, just loosen the screws and slide it up or down to get proper adjustment.. Hope this helps.

The switch or the mechanizm to the the switch is faulty. It is more likely to be the switch. Some of these are easier to replace than others. I hope yours is easy.

I recently bought a well maintained 1995 Camaro, but for the life of me can not figure out how to turn on the high beams. I have driving since 1974, so I don't get it. Please advise.

the turn signal arm which also controls cruise if it has it and wiper control,if you pull this towards you the high beams should come on and if you pull it again it will return to low beams.

Lowbeam headlight dont work, not the bulb, high beam and all other lights work.

Make sure you use the right light because the high beams and low beams use different lights. I think the low beam is H4531 and the high is H4532.

Both low beam headlights on a 1995 camero just quit working high beams work fine

Are you sure they both failed at the same time? Sometimes one was out and you didn't notice. Next I would check for voltage at the plug that goes into the back of one of the headlights with a test light and the switch for low beams in the on position.

1996 CAMARO BLOWS HEADLIGHT EVERY 6 MONTHS

ive had 2 camaros and both did this. remove the headlight and take the bulb out of the back of the sealed beam. be careful not to break it as its glued in, but it is possible. just be gentle and patient. replace the bulb with an aftermarket 9006 bulb (hi beams are 9005) and silicone it back into the housing. i haven't had one burn out yet after doing this

Remote key lock stopped working after wal mart put new battery in and now my head lights stopped workin!!!

check fuse for low beam, then possibly both low beam globes. they could have blown.
the key remote may need reprograming into system try put key in ignition in on position then press remote buttons a couple of times then try if no good need to go to dealer to be programed into system again or it needs repairing/replacing.
