    Hi it might help to get the system flushed out and fluid changed. There could be some valves sticking. Hope this helps.

Hi the ECU is built into the transmission, they are very basic on this modle. What problem are you having??

    Drive is stuck in 3rd gear for pulling away in icy conditions - no transmission alight on dash board, manual selection on 1st, 2nd & 3rd ok - no communication with scan tool with gear box

hi there, needs to be the same number. computers need to match. tourque converters are different from 2.0/2.2 to the 2.5 engines. also shift points are different between models so needs to talk to the dash perfectly. hope this helps.

at speeds below 100km the car accelerates fine. above 100km the reves go up but there is no torque as if car is lazy.
what can this be

Can you please tell me where is the ECU located on a opel corsa Lite 2005 model 1.4 ?

If your sat in the drivers seat the ECU is located on the left hand side of the engine obviously in reverse if your stood looking at the engine the ECU will be on the right hand side of the engine usually bolted to the inlet manifold ! Hope this helps Nick

It sounds like you may have ruptured an oil cooler line to/from the radiator and the transmission was pumped dry.. Take it to an accredited auto transmission shop and have the system pressure tested to show where the leak is

I have 4jx1 engine manual transmision with manual ecu changed to ecu 4jx1 automatic

The manual and auto ECUs are not interchangeable, the auto ecu needs signals from the auto shifter and gearbox that it is not getting.
