Question about 1998 Cadillac DeVille
Whenever i turn right in my 98 deville it makes a ticking sort of metal on metal noise. It wont make it when it's hoisted up, and it has to be going over 10 mph. Have just replaced both cv axles and sway bars. I've asked all around and most say just drive it and if it gets worse then worry, but that noise doesn't sound good. PLEASE HELP!
Could be a brake pad, or a wheel bearing.
If the sound is a little "heavy", it could be the left CV joint.
My car made a clicking sound like that , it was a bent shield around the back of the brake rotors. I remember bending it when I changed a tire.
Also you could see if the brake "Wear indicator" could be hitting the rotor.
Hope this helps.

Testimonial: "Was thinking it was maybe bearings. CV axles are both literally days old as are the sway bars. Made sure nothing is rubbing and such, everything is lubed good, i'm just stumped. A little sad too, I love this car."
