An ohm meter may help or hold the broken pieces together, exactly as it broke, the two pieces should line up to original position and give you an idea.
Hope either helps!

Prius warning lights abs pressure brake

abs concern. abs light. also, red brake light. is this correct? drive axle was replaced. testing for abs codes can lead to a pinpoint test.
once codes are read, there may be a specific area indicated to run tests. since the wheel hub area was where the recent work was performed...i suggest looking at the abs exciter ring for the wheel speed sensor.if the teeth are broken off , and or smashed or flattened. the hub, or the ring attached may need correction. there may also be a speed sensor wire and sensor concern after working in that area. inspect the sensor, its wires, and the connectors that attach it to the wiring. take the result of the code check, pinpoint test, and physical condition of the parts into mind, and decide. report your findings. you will need a good quality DVOM test meter to perform electrical tests. and guided diagnostic from the applicable service manual.

F-250 06 4x4 diesel, rear brakes dragging (abs light is on)

You need to take off the tire and check to see if the brakes or on properly. They should be sitting right on top of the disk. And if it is not there are 2 screws you have to take off the get the brakes off and reattach the brakes. And some times the brakes are not attached properly or the thing that hold them is broken you can easily tell what is causing the problem when you take off the tire and jack up the truck

No turn signals, 1 driver brake light bad, ABS light on. 2002/2003 CVPI

Sounds like you have 'ground' issues. Apply the brakes using a broom stick or more apropriate tool so that the brake lights are activated. Then go to the brake light that is not bright enough. using a test-light with a sharp pointed probe, poke the ground wire close to the bulb (usually a black wire) make sure the test light is attached to a grounded bolt. if the brake light gets brighter with ground added, you need a new ground wire. Splice it in to the existing wire & attach it to a bolt. Lights should work better with proper ground. (each bulb has a positive post & neg. post, don't add ground to the side with power coming through it from Battery (+)(red light on test light) - probe wires FIRST with test light to find (+) POS. Hot wire, and leave that one alone.

Replace rear brake light.

Open rear hatch. You'll see 2 black screws on the brake light assembly. Remove these 2 screws and pull the assembly out. There, you'll see wires attached to a long grey strip which holds the bulbs. There are 2 screws on each side of the top and bottom of this strip. Remove these and this plastic strip will pull straight out with the bulbs attached to it. You now have access to all 3 bulbs to replace with new ones.

  7. Unfasten the four hub/bearing-to-knuckle attaching bolts, then remove the hub/bearing assembly.
To Install:
  1. Install the hub/bearing assembly onto the knuckle. Install the four attaching bolts and tighten to 52 ft. lbs. (70 Nm).

1999 f150 anti lock brakes

John, My 99 F150 had an abs light on and I found the right side front wheel sensor wire had fallen off of the inner fender mount and burned the insulation and grounded the wires together, I taped up the wires and tied it up and the light went out. Your ABS module is located directly beneath your air cleaner next to and just above the steering gear box. It is black plastic and silver alumnium. Says Kelsey-Hayes right on and has six brake lines attached to it. As for the rear brake take that drum off again and have someone help by pushing the brake pedal down while the drum is off press lightly and very slowly, verify that the brake cylinder is moving, do not push hard and fast as it will probably blow the pistons out of the cylinder! If is is frozen replace it and bleed and it should be fine. The brake light is probably on for low fluid. Let me know how it goes.
