What do I need to do with the code p2106

P2106 - Throttle Actuator Control System - Forced Limited Power

Engine power and RPM's will be limited and cruise control will be disabled due to a throttle fault. This occurs when one or more throttle positions sensor readings are out of range or do not agree with each other. Sometimes this code is also set if the throttle plate cannot return to the idle position due to carbon buildup in the throttle body (you might try cleaning it). The code can also be caused by a bad mass air flow, output shaft speed, turbine speed sensor, or crank position sensor. If the throttle body is clean, operates smoothly, and no other sensors are failed, then you might have to just replace the throttle body.

91 buick regal. fuel coming out of throttle body when turning over the motor

Has throttle body been rebuilt? What about the gaskets/seals? are they new, (incl base gasket)? Also check throttle valve shaft for leakage between throttle body and shaft.

1988 k1500 backfires and almost dies when warmed up and on highway when giving more gas

Usually when you get a backfire thru the intake the problem is timing or a lean fuel mixture.
If you are sure the ignition system is in good condition, I would have the fuel pressure tested.
You could also have a vac leak that is random, or a problem with the throttle position sensor. But if the sensor has failed you should get a trouble code and check engine light.

Blew my 2004 Dodge Durago 5.9L motor. How much does it cost to replace the motor? What do I do with the old motor that still has good heads, throttle body, etc?

how much depends where you get it done and their rates, don't count on book time as there are many variables involved, a good shop should be able to give you a good idea, and they will give you credit on core for the use engine as trade for the rebuilt, as for the electronics they will be transferred from your old engine to the new, help any???
