DIY? I recomend a repair manual, You will want it later anyway. Your auto parts store should have it, or try filepeep.com or manualslib.com

SOURCE: 1994 Honda Accord Ex dashboard removal

You have to remove the console and radio pod. Then remove 2 screws that you can now get to behind the pod. Then pry out the dash light dimmer switch (the one you use to adjust dash light brightness) remove the screw behind it that holds in the gage cluster trim. Then there is another switch on the other side under the cluster (don't remember what it is) and there is another screw behind it. Have fun, LOL!

Further clarification on the O2 sensor location: It is in the exhaust pipe, under the center of the car, on top of the pipe, just aft of the oil filter.

There is a slot to the right of the gear shift. All you have to do is put your key in this slot, push all the way in and this will release the gear shifter for park to any gear selected

If you are talking about just plugging into the speed sensor yes. A VTEC and NON-VTEC are one and the same.

I have a 1994 Honda Accord and it will not rev over 3500 rpm, it also has a check engine light on, I tested it and it says the crankshaft sensor it gone, so I replaced the distributor (crank sensor is...

i know these post may be old but i found the solution to rev problem, i have a 94 accord ex was revin' at abbout 3200rpm, so i ran a diagnostic and found it to be the crank sensor(code 4). not what you may or may not know this sensor is part of the distributor. so you can do one of two things go to a salvage yard and try to lacate one ($100) or buy it new ($400). after install reset the ecm and let it recalibrate and you ready to roll.

Determining if head gasket is blown on a 1994 honda accord Ex w VTec

White smoke out of the exhaust is one indication that the head gasket is blown. Another is to start the car and check the oil on the dipstick. If it's frothy or looks like a milkshake, this is another indication of a blown head gasket. The milky appearance indicates that coolant is in your engine, caused by a bad head gasket. If none of these symptoms occur, then the problem lies elsewhere. Hope this answers your question and feel free to post back with any other concerns or questions. Thank you.

Starting problem

Hi

It could be a problem with the crank sensor or a problem with the O2 sensor.

A diagnostic is required to find out which one it is, it may be something else, but these are the most likely culprits.

Very best regards
