It tried to start but blew the pcm fuse what is that what should I do next

The PCM is the engine computer an it needs battery voltage for it to work ! You have a short an if you don't know about such thing's I suggest you take it to a automotive electric shop !

SOURCE: Car blew PCM fuse and would not run, replaced the

generally when a pcm fuse blows you have another issue that caused the fuse to blow. You may of damaged the replacement PCM by not fixing this problem first. You will need a diagnaostic scanner and manufacturer troubletree procedures to proceed.

There is a dead short to ground on that circuit . There are videos on youtube showing how to find an fix a short . Do you know how to do automotive electrical testing ? How to find automotive electrical shorts Look at the wiring harness under the hood for rubbed through wire's , harness going to the PCM , also find out what if any thing else is powered by that fuse . Which PCM fuse ? There are a few PCM 1 , PCM B , etc...

Any one of these fuse will cause the engine not to crank . The PCM energizes the starter relay which supply's power to the starter .

did you use your old prom chip? when you changed it out/ if not then it wont run right not all pcm's/ecms use the same prom chips per year model

check the fuse and relay again, make sure that the pcm wire are connect properly, get it reprogramme

You need to check the PCM for fault codes, if none exist, you need to follow the manufacture's diagnostic tree for "No start - no codes". You will need a manual or a Mitchell On-Demand or AllData program for this. You probably blew up the PCM.
