Check with a multi meter if there is power on the devices. If not, look where the fuses are and see if the are in, not defect, and there are no corroded contacts in the fuse holder or on the fuses.
When the devices are getting the power they need (12V) you have to assume the defices are defect.

My rear view mirror with temp and compass sometimes will not work. It will show all the digital shows up at once and not the temp, but sometimes it works ok. What can I do?

Does the compass work when the temperature goes out? If the compass still works then chances are that the ambient temp sensor is defective. Also, could be wiring to the sensor. If the compass goes out with the temperature then chances are the mirror itself is defective. Cheapest most common problem is the ambient temp sensor. It's behind the grill by the condenser at the front of the vehicle.

The compass and outside temp on my 2006 Toyota Tacoma quit working. Is there a fuse for this unit and where would I find it?

Are your cruise control, dome, and tail lights also out? If so then it is a fuse. If not then the control unit has gone bad internally. You may be able to get it fixed under your warranty.
If it is not covered by your warranty, check out

Inside compass and thermeter does not work. How

You may have blown a fuse under the dash. I must express that if you don't know how to fix or have knowledge to do these things, find someone who does.
If your vehicle came with a basic manual, read the section on electrical system. It will tell you the location of your fuse box and it will tell you how to reset the compass and temp.
My Chevy came with this and it is the best part of the truck.

My expertise is more powertrain,but....probably an issue with the vehicle computer, more specifically body computer. Most vehicles now have several computers, one for the powertrain, one for the body, one for the anti lock brakes, another for the air bags, etc etc..
