Do you have at least 60 ft lbs at the little valve on top .
You can't affictly test the pump pressure this way .
Volume would be a better test take off the filter plug a soda bottle on the line from the fuel pump .Turn the key to run see how much fuel in 10 seconds then x it by 6 and that is gal per min.

Possibly the crank sensor it tells the injectors and coils when to fire. Relieve fuel pressure then re pressurize the system if it gets pressure the fuel pump is good at least

Remove the gas cap, disconnect the battery, locate the fuel pressure test port, connect a fuel pressure gauge with a bleed off valve and drain tube.

Hi! You must be frustrated by now! your code is marking that the O2 sensor is bad in bank 1. Did you replace the O2 sensor that is located  before the catalytic converter?  The S10 has an O2 sensor specially made for that cat. its about 30$ That would explain for your blackened spark plugs; your pc on the car is asking for more fuel. GOOD LUCK!!

My 2005 Ford F150 started stalling and seemed like it was running out of gas. I changed the fuel filter and now when I start it, it idles for 2-3 minutes and stalls out? Where to check fuel pressure

Have the fuel pressure tested to see if the fuel pump is the problem. You can check pressure just by turning key to ON, after you have connected a fuel pressure gauge at the fuel rail on the engine. There is a test port there, called a shraeder valve (?sp?).
There are specs for every vehicle, I don't know yours, but probably 50 psi, or maybe slightly higher.

Is there anyone that knows where the fuel pressure release valve is on a 2001 Dodge intripid

are you trying to test fuel pressure or are you trying to relieve pressure to change fuel filter to test is on top the engine on the fuel rail you can also hook up a fuel pressure gauge here it looks like the valve on your rims for air in your tires if your doing it to replace fuel filter pull two fuses fuel pump and relay fuses

Try a new fuel filter. If that doesn't work, have your fuel pump tested for proper pressure. Bad gas, injector partially clogged, bad fuel pressure regulator, bad idle valve, etc., etc. List is endless-gotta start somewhere>fuel filter and fuel pressure check. Also, have your engine computer checked for trouble codes-you need an OBD 1 scan. Walmart sells a code reader for around 25-30 dollars. Make sure it is the right one for your car. If any trouble codes come up, it should direct you to the problem. Good luck.

Car ran outof gas. put gas in, would not start. checked fuel pump, is pumping fuel. replaced fuel filter, replaced plugs, replaced wires, checked for pressure on fuel rail valve, got it (did not check...

Perhaps your fuel injectors are not opening properly to release the air pressure in the fuel rail and the fuel is unable to get in. With the vehicle off, remove the cap from the Schrader valve (the same kind of valve used on tires) in the fuel rail, then depress the pin in the center of the valve with a small screwdriver. CAUTION: this may be under high pressure (some vehicles have 90 PSI systems), and there probably will be gasoline in there. Make sure there are no ignition sources present (no smoking!) and wear safety glasses. If you get only air or nothing comes out, put the cap back on the valve and try to start the car one more time. If that doesn't work, your fuel pump was probably damaged when the tank went dry.

Where is the fuel pressure release in the 03 silverado so i can change the fuel filter? Is it an easy repair i can do myself?

the pressure release valve is located on the fuel rail under the hood at the intake should have a cap that is removed and will look like a tire schrader valve and if you push down on the valve it will release fuel can also release pressure if you let the car sit for a half hour and disconnect the fuel line, wiggle it as it is almost completely will get some fuel out past the fitting and this should release the pressure also.note you will still get fuel coming out of the filter when removing the lines and the filter from the car.

Is there pressure relief valve on fuel system when changing the fuel filter

no there is not, but there is a pressure test port valve you can depress on the top of the engine in the supply line that goes over the tops of the fuel injectors, looks kinda like a tire valve, have a rag handy.
