Question about 2009 Chevrolet Chevrolet Malibu LS
Who do you complain to about the issue?
You are not telling me where you live, but here are some ideas.
Door locks have "always been" inside the doors of the car, and as such, cannot be easily lubricated at all.
From the factory, they have no lubrication, are supposed to "just work" for 20 years or so.
I would be highly suspicious that you may live where there is ice and snow, which can cause rust or corrosion inside the doors, and may make your locks stick . Fixing would include taking each door apart and lubricating the mechanisms. That is a big job.
