Not sure what you're looking for. A peacock is a bird. Perhaps you're looking for a "stopcock"? If so, it's likely on the bottom, on the engine side.

Peacock valve leak

It's called petcock, and don't ask me why. On the radiator? Some have an O-ring, some just seal after tightening enough. You will have to investigate it. Might be able to wrap some Teflon tape around it and stop the leaking. If the threads are stripped where the valve goes in , either a new unit or figure out a good way to permanently plug it. When you need to drain the radiator, just pull off the bottom hose.

Replace thermostat

Drain the coolant out of the peacock drain on the radiator-the top radiator hose on the intake manifold needs to be removed- next you will remove the thermostat housing bolts, take the housing off and remove the thermostat. When reassembling clean the gasket surface really well and be carefull not to strip the bolts.

How to replace radiator

generally, you look on top of the radiator and remove a plastic cover , depending on the car again, you might have to remove a fan shroud,or the fan if its mechanical, next step has to be with the engine cold, drain the radiator, it has a peacock (drain valve) located on either drivers side or passengers side on the bottom of the radiator. make sure you drain it into a container and not the street, dogs like antifreeze and will drink it and die. once the antifreeze is drained proceed to remove the large upper hose and bottom hose that go into the radiator, it might be attached with a pressure clamp (take off with pliers) or a screw on clamp(with a flat blade screwdriver).
