SOURCE: car won"t start. starter turns. Happened once before. started after 30-45min.

I would start by banging the bottom of the gas tank while you are cranking it over. If this causes it to start, replace the fuel pump. If it still doesn't start, there is a valve on the fuel rail on the top of the engine (you may have to remove plastic cover). Remove the plastic cap on the valve, and while you have someone cycle the ignition to the run position from the off position, depress the center tab on the valve and see if gas comes out. If it doesn't, replace the fuel pump. If it does, let me know and I will help you further. (note: replace fuel filer at same time.)

SOURCE: my nissan max keeps shutting off while driving

It might be the immobilizer in the starter causing it to shut off. You should to go back to where you got the starter installed and see if they can do anything.

SOURCE: 95 NISSAN ALTIMA WON'T TURN OVER

I had a similar problem and figured out the battery cable connection to the battery post had corroded on one side making it loose and just lifting the hood would make the connection touch enough to allow power to transmit and then after movement of the car or just closing the hood would loosen it enough to break the circuit.

SOURCE: 2002 Nissan Sentra turns over but will not start

pull one of the coils out of the eng and attach the sparkplug and check for spark. if you don';t have any spark i suggest replacing the crank sensor. if you hae spark check for fuel pump activation. last and most unlikely ecm failure

If it is not turning over with a jump start then I would suspect your starter is the problem and will need to be changed. Have you tried to start it by getting a toe from another car. If it starts with a toe or push then you can be fairly sure it's your starter is the problem

Car will not start

Hey bro, battery might not give enough juice to fire the coils. I know you said it had spark but it might be intermittent. Try bump starting it if you can. I suspect it's the battery, try a boost too. If it is sparking, and you have gas, then it should at least sputter. I suspect the plugs got fouled when you were trying to start it with the weak battery, then when you tried with a charged one they were fouls so they couldn't fire. Take a wire brush over the plugs to clean up the carbon, make sure the battery is full, or boost off someone at the same time. If it fires, your batt is just too old and the plugs were fouled. Cheers bro.

2004 nissan armada low idle then won't start

I had the smae problem with mine last week, it turned out to be the IPDM Independent power distribution moduel, looks like a big fuse box. I would take it to a side mechanic and have them fix it instead of going to the dealer it took like 45 mins to take the old one out and put the new one in. If you go to the dealer they are sure to charge something crazy. Hope that works for you.
