Hi was the BCM a used part or new? If used there may be crash info stored in from previous car. Or the airbag ECU is coded into the BCM which will mean you need to get it from the other car also. Good luck

98 grand Cherokee air bag light stays on how can I reset it ??

Air bag light

Air bag light on means thier is a problem with the air bag system ! You could clear it but the light will come right back on ! You need to see what code or code's are stored , diagnose them , replace or fix the problem ! Then the light will go off . Your best bet if you don't know that , take it to a qualified repair shop . So you don't get hurt , people have been killed messing with air bag's not knowing what they were doing .

Door locks click and airbag lght stayes on

BCM has nothing to do with air bags , air bags has own control module . SRS ! If the air bag light stays on there are DTC'S diagnostic trouble codes stored . Your best bet is to take your vehicle to a qualified repair shop . You won't fix anything just replacing parts . Testing by a qualified technician is the only way . You could kill yourself messing with the airbags ,not knowing what your doing !

Air bag light stays on

Whenever this warning light or any other stays on in the dash it is indicating that the systems control module (or the system sensor in the case of lights like low oil pressure, door open indicators etc.) has detected a fault, it then disables the system (this applies to ABS,TCS, TCM, SRS and BCM faults and others) as long as the light is on. You must now have the dealer hook up a special electronic diagnostic tool and "scan" the system for the fault code that is stored for the problem(s)

Legend of Abbreviations. ABS Antilock brake system.TCS Traction control system, TCM Transmission control module, SRS Supplemental restraint system, BCM Body control module

The air bag stays on...

you will have to have the code pulled out of the bcm to see what the code is for to start diagnosing.it could be a problem with the clock spring in the steering colume

All the light on instrusment panel are on,none of the gauge work.

Fuel gauge, is fuel sending unit or gauge itself.
Air bag could be a faulty clock spring, bad bag, bad module, or something else. Air conditioner I would need to know what is not working right to elaborate on that.
