Turns over, or restarts? Most likely fuel delivery system. Take by your favorite auto parts store, ask them to read the ECU error codes.

the battery says 12 volts but may be dropping to 4 or 5 under a load...i would suggest jumpstarting the car and see what happens.the battery should read in the high 12 volts and not less than 9.5 under cranking. the dash lights go out on your car when starting, and the alarm will go off ,and disable the ignition if the voltage is too low in cranking the car because the computer will shut it down and activate the anti theft.....check your battery posts are tight. best of luck

Could be as simple as a blown fuse for the ETACS module, but it sounds more like a problem with the anti theft immobilizer system. Does your car have remote keyless entry? And is the key you are using a factory key or one someone made? (factory key will be encased in bulky black plastic with hyundai logo) The transponder in the key might have worn out and is not talking to the car anymore. Some hyundais use the radio antenna to receive the signal, is there an antenna on the car? Is it hooked up? If it is a problem with the key and immobilizer system, It will unfortunately need towed to a dealer and reprogrammed.

unless the battery light was on while the engine was running I don't think that was your problem. The batt light always comes on when the key is on and vehicle is not running. That said I am not sure without more info why the vehicle shutdown and how that is related to the ac unit
