Question about 2005 Hyundai Tucson

The short answer is YES. Most likely a warped clutch, will need a new pressure plate and clutch disk and in the worst case fly wheel replaced or machined. The good news is that it could last for awhile before complete failure or until you get annoyed and wish to replace it.

It is the clutch .sometimes called ;;death rattle ;;! i had to change mine at just 30k .the car is ten years old but the clutch needed to be replaced .you can get a borg and beck clutch kit for around £100 of ebay i think the part is 2216 .just check with borg and beck .it will be better than the original and its hard work to change ..my engineer too 6 hours to change it .also change the gasket at the clutch end .they cost around £20 .and change your oil in your gear box and the transfer case too

Could be a number of possibilities throw out bearing or pilot bushing i have never heard of a warped pressure plate does it vibrate under a load or while driving ? doesn't mean clutch is failing if it was failing you would get more symptoms while driving or engaging clutch not removing load from clutch by depressing it
