Question about 2009 Chevrolet Suburban
Not sure exactly but to find the filter, it will be on the fuel pipe from the tank to the carby. Follow the fuel line and you will find it. Normally either a small plastic or steel canister with 2 buts of rubber hose either side and a couple of clips or it may have steel fittings which need to be unscrewed. If you buy a new filter from a Dealer, you should be able to recognise yours immediately on the car.

Put an injector noid light at the injector plug terminals to see if your getting a signal from the PCM(computer). If not try to find a computer from the same vehicle that works and swap it into yours to check.A PCM swap will take about 15minutes.

Fuel filter—4.8L, 5.3L and 6.0L engines—2000–01 vehicles
It will be on your frame rail.
If you have fuel injection, it'll be in your gas tank part of the fuel pump module.
