I have a 97 plymoth breeze and it keeps dying when i am driving. I will have to let it sit for about 10 minutes then it will start and run for about 2 or 3 minutes and die again. What would the proble

Have you done any diagnostics? When the problem is ongoing, are you saying it cranks good but won't start? If so, engine cranking, did you check for spark at the plugs and fuel injector pulse? If your missing both, I'd check the cam and crank sensors. Don't replace anything unless your testing points in that direction. How long since a tune-up? Any applicable trouble codes? Some of the national brand auto stores will check codes for free or get an obd2 code reader.

Occationally, when I first start the car in the morning & it is, or has been, raining, Cylinder 4 misfires and the check engine light comes on. A guy at a parts store determined from the codes that it...

If it does end up being a short due to a break in the insulation, you can get a replacement wiring harness from a junk yard or even order one and replace that section of harness. I doubt this is your problem. When you get a random misfire or a constant misfire on one cylinder that is not related to the coil or coil pack it is usually a problem with a Crank or Cam position sensor. You say it happens consistantly when it rains, that tells me it is most likely the Crank Position sensor and to be more precise a problem on the crank where that sensor is mounted that is preventing it from detecting the #4 firing position. Remove, clean both the crank and the sensor with clean rags and inspect he sensor wires for breaks or contact with moving parts. If any are found replace the crank position sensor.

1999 chrysler 300m wont crank, code P0340

Sounds like the timing belt broke. Unfortunately this vehicle was not equiped with no contact valves so if that is the case you will need to have the engine and Head rebuilt. If the crank position sensor can't sense the position of the crank it should shutdown the electrical to keep you from damaging your engine.

Pedal position malfunction

You can change the tps alone. You do not have to change the entire throttle body. It shouldn't be riveted in place, it should have screws or bolts on one side or the other. If it's riveted in place, use a dremmel and grind the rivets off. You can replace rivets with screws on the new unit.
