Firing order is 1-6-5-4-3-2 cyls. # 1-3-5 on drivers side front to back and cyls. # 2-4-6 passenger side front to back.

Plugs are numbered from the front of the engine to the back of the engine.

the spark plugs wires are 4 (four) the engine works in sequence of 1342 on the distributor cap mostly writes 1 ( one ) this means the first piston-the first spark -lead. if it is there then go clockwise and put the rest following the firing order I wrote above.

My 1998 toyota camry wont start


remove the distributor cap and check for corrosion on the points or carbon tracking lines inside the cap...most likely needs a full tune up being plugs, wires, cap and rotor

I got '96 Toyota camry auto .in good compress .new fuel pump ,new inj,cap,rotor ,wire new ,distributor,but the run only 2cyl anh check engine light it on anh I hook up OBDII #1and#4 miss fire ,also...


Have you checked/Inspected/Tested the following: Injector power connector for power, Internal ignition coil, distributor assembly connector.

the firing order is in fact 1 2 3 4 5 6 the number one cylynder is on the left at the back, as you look at the engine from the front >>

1991 toy camry 2.0 My car was running good. Had oil leaks. I changed valve cover gasket and dist o ring. Made mistake of not marking Dist. location. I put back together started but missing very bad....


check the condition of the contacts on the cap if worn replace cap,check the the ignition coil out put on both the primary and secondery curcuits
