There should be a shrader valve (Looks like where you put air in the tires) somewhere on the fuel rail. You need a fuel pressure gauge to test it accurately, but you can tell if you have fuel pressure. After you find the valve, remove the cap, and have someone turn the car on, and you should see fuel squirt out. Be VERY careful because this is raw gas and make sure there is no spark or flame around it. The OBD connector should be just to the left of the steereing column on the lower part of the dash.

Have you inspected the catalytic converter for blockage? The other issue could be fuel pressure...the fuel regulator could be defective. Hope this helps.

Stalls when excellerating

i would do a few things here, simply spend $8 on some injector cleaner to break down carbon deposits, then try replacing the fuel filter, lastly, get the timing checked, plug gaps {new plugs} clean oxygen sensor in exhaust then lastly get the fuel pump pressure checked at a mechanics, all in that order untill it works, Good luck

Hello you need is help have a nissan maxima 1992 turn on fine but when I go up to 30mph in feet as if something was stuck igyetor change a fuel filter I feet that can be a sensor thanks for your help

check fuel pressure
the fuel line in the tank that connects the pump to the fuel line may have split.
if the fuel level is low you can hear the fuel spraying in the tank.
good luck

Starting problems

IF its not a fuel issue as in you checked your fuel pump, fuel filter, fuel injectors and pressure regulator, try having your timing belt looked at. Maybe its time to replace it. Check your crank and camshaft sensors as well.

2000 maxima hard starting is it the fuel pressure reguator. the run fine when started

Have a fuel pressure test done on it, that will tell if it's the fuel system causing the problem or something else.

Hi my nissan maxima has problem

The oxygen sensors in the exhaust pipe are saying the fuel/air ratio is too lean. This commonly happens when the computer in the car reached it's limit putting out the most fuel. Therefore, the mix ratio is still lean.
The possible problem maybe:
The fuel pump not puting out enough pressure.
The fuel filter maybe clogged
The fuel injector maybe clogged or needs to be cleaned.

Were there anymore trouble codes besides the two from Autozone?

Try the idle air control valve it is located near the throttle body it has a four wire plug and has two small hoses attached to it this is a small stepper motor that controls the amount of air on start up this part will cost about $200 from a popular auto parts store.
