Check the sliding wheel assembly that supports the door in the bottom of the door channel. SOmetimes this channel wiil become very dirty/rusty. Spray wd40 liberally along the channel once it is cleaned out. The wheel assembly may have to be replaced if it is seized or broken

Why would automatic sliding door not pop out unless you pull handle?

Sometimes the lock on the handle from the interior gets stuck half way in/ out. Check its position. Mine does this periodically and then won't close, keeps opening. Also verify child safety close switch is in correct position.

Sliding Door on a 1994 Plymouth Voyager will not open or lock

Hello, maybe it locked that the reason why it wouldn't open. You'll need to take it a body shop and have them open the door. If you have never mess with the insides of a vehicle door there is a lot of sharp metal edges that almost guarantee you some stitches. I wish you all the luck. GB....stewbison

97 plymouth dodge van interior lights go on for no reason while driving

When sitting still, try pushing in and pulling out on all the doors to see if light comes on when you pull one of them without pulling handle and unlatching door. Or, sit inside and push out on doors to see if light comes on. If it does on one door, adjust door to close tighter.

How to remove inside door panel passanger side

Remove the screw by the handle that opens the door and the screw by the defrost vent. Then remove the screw that would touch the dash if the door was closed. Then remove the screw in the handle that you would use to close the door from the inside. Now remove the 2 screw at the bottom of the panel, these are kind of hard to find, runs you finger around in the carpet. Pull the plastic cover off around the opening handle, and unplug the window and lock switches. Now carefully pry off the panel. After you get the clips to release, unhook the rod from the back of the opening handle.

My back hatch lock won't turn and the electric lock won't unlock it (on my 99 plymouth Voyager). Is there a way I can get the hatch open so I can take off that back panel to get a better look?

First try spraying WD-40 or similar penetrant in key slot with little nozzle that comes with it. Stick it in as far as you can & spray while you pull it slowly out. It may take a few times & keep trying to work the key in between spraying. You'll have to get the key to work, or power lock to unlock. Spray all up inside around actual handle too, it may drip down on actuator & linkages for electric, and possibly get it working.
