Question about Mercury Cars & Trucks
Could be a fuse/s that serve the signal system, could be the switch on the steering column but not likely. Could be the flasher itself, or all the connections to it. Corrosion causes bad behavior. The best connections are bright metal from cleaning or scraping. (rescued my 20 yr old car) with other connection problems.
