What else could be my RPM problem on my 2003 Deville, besides the idle valve and the idle position sensor that I've changed already, but still very high?

Since you are a DIYer, I recommend a ECU error code read at your favorite auto parts store (ask nicely) and a repair manual from them.

If you have not run the fault codes then that would be a good place to start. It will save you money as it will pinpoint the failing sensor.

Lancer 2003 1.6; Wich Idle RPM, engine stall whenever aircond compressure clush was energized. and very vibration when transmission D was selected. Another component wich concern; New igniter plug...

Your idle problem could be caused by the EGR Valve, the Idle Air Control Valve, or the Throttle Position Sensor, or the Mass Airflow Sensor.Because there are so many things involved, you need t have the computer scanned for codes. The codes will tell us which of these components might be at fault. There are a few things you can do that might help. Make sure there are no vacuum leaks such as loose or damaged vacuum hoses. Make sure the air filter is clean. Get some Throttle Body Cleaner and clean the throttle body and the Idle Air Control Valve. Don't try to adjust the idle speed. It is controlled by the computer. Unless of course, you have had the throttle body and linkage removed from the engine, which could have caused the throttle linkage to be out of adjustment. You could try turning the adjusting screw to get the idle rpm up to around 700 rpm. But most likely, the computer will override any thing you do in that area.

My 1995 Deville has a idling issue, replaced new water pump, map sensor and idle control valve...still not fixed. .any sugestions??

Many times this issue can be caused by a dirty air filter, I would start there if you already
haven't done so.

Also, if you haven't recently changed your spark plugs and wires you may consider pulling
out atleast one spark plug to look at its condition.

2002 Jeep Liberty 2WD 377l v6 won't idle when first started up.

it doesn't have to do with the battery. I just had this same problem. Clean the carbon out of the IAC and test to see if this solves the problem. Should it not, the next step is to replace the Throttle Position Sensor. This is a common problem with this model of jeep. The can of cleaner and the sensor only cost 45 bucks, and about an hour total to do.
