Question about Cars & Trucks
Could be a few things. Most common is a wheel bearing going out. It throws metal towards the wheel sensor and it erratic readings. The next is a broken wire to the wheel sensor. GM puts a plastic coating around the wires, it get hard and breaks, this is were the wire/s will break. Check EBCM fuses first. If the light goes out, then comes on when you start moving, It is most likely a bad wheel bearing. If it doesn't go out at all, then it could be the wire or sensor. Some times the control module goes bad, sometimes. To check the wheel bearings. They will make a noise, a low hum to grinding. Find an empty parking lot. Make left and right hand circles giving it some speed. Listen for the noise. While making a left turn and the noise gets louder, replace the right side bearing. Going left puts more pressure on the right. And vice versa for the other side.

That would be the "traction control light". There are a couple of times you could see it. When you first start your car, when you push the TCL button or when there is a problem with it. You should take it to a qualified machanic and have it checked out or you can verify what I have told you in your owners manual and then take it to a qualified mechanic.
