To start with you have to remove the filler neck at the tank opening you open the doorthere will be three small Torx head screws surrounding the perimeter of the opening for the fuel tank filler remove those 3 screws allowing a filler neck to wobble inside the fender then climb under the vehicle find the location of the filler tube connection from the hose to the tank just follow that hose down we're at clamps on 516 socket nice short extension and remove that hose clamp and remove the rubber line from the fuel tank once that's complete take a piece of smaller than 38 fuel line about 3 to 4 feet long preferrably and thread it through the filler neck being aware of the tank flap on the inside do not damage any obstruction of the tank assembly when trying to fish the host through then create a siphon into your collection cans until the tank is empty enough to achieve your goal pretty straightforward and common sense will help out more than my instruction

I would simply jumper the fuel pump with 12V, crack open the fuel injector line line at the engine hook a hose to it and let the fuel pump do the work until the tank is empty.

check fuel sensor in fuel tank first to see if this is causing the problem. Some cars you can get to it from your trunk and most cars have to drop the fuel tank.

2005 Lincoln Navigator fuel indicator quit working.

float and sending unit in fuel tank has gone bad or may have just overfilled the tank. Wait and see if it corrects itself., or You will have to replace pump float and sending it all is one complete unit. It is located inside the fuel tank and you will have to have the tank drained, removed to gain access to the pump float sending unit. check your gauge fuses also

I have a Lincoln Aviator 2003 and i want to change a gas filter how i do it

The fuel filter is integral with the electric fuel pump assembly, which is inside the tank.
To change the fuel filter, you will need to replace the entire pump assembly (~$400). This can be done by draining the fuel from the tank, removing the tank, replacing the assembly, and reversing to reinstall it.

I have a 2000 lincoln navigator and it needs a tune up... How hard is it to perform the tune up

It's easy to do, except the plugs. As far as a tune-up, the only thing i would recommend is new plugs, air filter, fuel filter, clean the throttle body, and run a octane booster through a tank of gas. I prefer not to use a basic injector cleaner so I use a 104 octane booster.

Navigator will not start turning over fine , just cut off at redlight, would not restart lincoln navigator 2001

that sounds like it could be a fuel pump. have someone turn on the key but not start the truck while you listen by the tank for a humming sound. IT will only last a second or two. If you dont hear anything then your pump is bad. The filter could be clogged also. before tearing off your gas tank replace the fuel filter, which you would do if you replaced the pump anyway.

remove the cover from your computer under the hood and check all the fuses.
