Are you talking about the oxygen sensors??? What is the actual trouble code when you scan the car's computer??? That will help in replacing the correct oxygen sensor.

dont look for air when the car cuts out its most likley spark or fuel when it cuts out ranomly its usually a sensor or relay that is faulty check fuel pump relay and camshaft or crankshaft sensors but first narrow it down to spark or fuel if possible also if check engine lite is on check codes

SOURCE: Check engine light

Sometimes can be prematurely dirty air filter, sets off the air flow sensor, which sets off the o2 sensor. So might try new air filter first and erase codes and then see, before you spend more bucks than you need; then if codes return, do the flow mix sensor.

SOURCE: What is the location of the FUEL AIR RATIO SENSOR

since that is a Boxer engine it will have one O2 sensor at the base of each exhaust manifold. and since it is newer than a 1996 it will have one or two more O2 sensors behind each catalytic converter so you will have three or four ( O2 sensors) fuel air ratio sensors you need to check if you are having a problem. the two at each exhaust manifold are the upstream and the ones at the catalytic converters are the downstream. hopefully that engine only has one catalytic converter going into one exhaust pipe. the exaust manifolds are under the engines cylinder heads (under the engine).

My 2001 Tacoma V-6 mileage has gone down 20-30% with no loss in performance that I have noticed. Any suggestions?

Normall an oxygen sensor will do this before it is completely bad....(.Suggestion Only)................
...The sensor monitors air/fuel mixture and if it doesnt sense enough air it will cause it to burn more fuel.....Also change air filter and make sure air in tires are at factory spec.....Check driver door jam for spec....It could have up to 4 oxygen sensors....Dont just change one for the heck of it...
You need it scanned by a dealer and it will show which one is losing voltage........
Make sure plugs and wires are good .....If havent been changed in 30,000..You need to change the
plugs probably.....................Hope this helps..................Metalpoet......Level II chrysler Tech.

Code p1130 p1135 p1150 what are this ??? Thanks

p1130= bank one sensor one, Air/Fuel Ratio Sensor Circuit Range/Performance Malfunction (sensor is located underneath near the firewall) p1150= bank two sensor one, Air/Fuel Ratio Sensor Circuit Range/Performance Malfunction (Directly behind the radiator) p1135=bank one sensor one, Air/Fuel Ratio Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction Bank one sensor one sensors run around $206 Bank two sensor one sensors run around $150
basically its o2 sensors if your mechanically inclined its a good weekend job to tackle yourself and safe a couple hundred dollars in labour, you would need to invest in an o2 socket and some pbblaster penetrating lubricant to get them out..hope this helps you and dont forget to rate if it does help thanks

TOYOTA TACOMA 2001 PROBLEMS

That code is for your Air/Fuel Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction (Bank
1 Sensor 1). Basically that circuit is either getting to much current or not enough. That can be cause by a couple things i can think of off the top my head like open or short in that circuit, or a faulty Engine control Module (ECM), Or Possibly your A/F sensor heater could be faulty. Without looking at the data and testing your truck its hard to be exact but i hope this helps.

How many air/fuel or oxygen sensors are on the 2002 Prerunner 4cylinder?

The air-fuel sensor is located BELOW the manifold, on the side of the head pipe. You would need to be under the vehicle to see it.
That sensor is commonly called "bank one/sensor one".
