Ray is only partly correct. If its a fuse, your power seat won't be working at all.

Maybe bad switch is your problem

Front power seat on 2005 gmc denali doesn't raise or lower

Check fuses.
Then look under the seat to make sure there are not any dis-connected plugs, things get shoved under seats and plugs get disconnected.
If you can tell what wires are for the seat, you can unplug them and use a 12V test light to tell if you are getting power to the seat motors. (this would tell you if the motors are good, if you are getting power to them)

Maybe you problem is with the switch, or check if power seat circuit has the regular fuse or rather one of those thermal ones.
Passenger compartment fuse panel
The fuse panel is located on the left hand side of the instrument panel facing the drivers side door.

2006 tahoe with heated seats. when the seat is

The heating element in the seat may be failing, even thogh it heats the seat, the element could be causing the circut to spike upon power shut down. Relay takes mili-second to shut down after ignition kill and power feed comes direct from battery. Check amp. draw at switch of bad seat and good seat upon shut down. If bad seat higher that 5 amp difference element n/g. Also check for bad relay as they can short internal and cause problems if primary power cut before switch shut down.

My Driver side power Seat is not working...

one of three things did you higher the seat to clean under it if so you may have knoked one of the connectors off just a thought if this is not the case the next best bet is as simple as a fuse they are fused if you find that the fuses are ok then the other likley cause is a relay as these seats use low toruqe motors which use higher than normall current yates210456
