How difficult is it to replace the front cross sub assembly located beneath the radiator?

Hi Roger it is spot welded in a few places. Look at the new one and you can work out how much you need to remove. Then weld in the new one. Good Luck.

If the fuses are ok, then I suggest check motor fan wires and harnesses connections or motor fan itself.

Radiator is busted on right side at the bottom

Hello, If you have a vehicle within Warranty range, it is a defect if the welds supporting the Radiator bracket break away or the Radiator leaks. Contact the Dealer.

If this is an older vehicle and it is a breakaway on the Radiator mount some of the Radiator shells are metal and some are plastic. If it is not leaking then the mount can be repaired with JB-Weld, and chemical bonding agent, or if metal, the JB-Weld or Brazing with a torch.

If you are describing a leak, distorted and irregular shaped bulge in the Radiator, you probably had weak Antifreeze and the water froze and blew out the core or tank bottom. You need to take the Radiator to a Repair shop as some parts can be saved and some can be replaced. Or go straight to an Auto-parts shop and ask if it is cheaper to fix or replace the Radiator.

If you can not work on the vehicle yourself, you will need to tow it in. If you have Autoclub or a car Insurance policy with Towing privileges, call to ask about coverage. Then call Repair shops close by and price the repair and have the Tow truck take it to be fixed.

is it an esi or tsi? if esi the swap is damn near impossible because the 4g63 sits reverse to the 420a and the mounts would have to be fabricated and welded on.... its a long **** process....
