the fan on-off temp can be adjusted via hand held programmer. The only time I have herd mine run is with the a/c on. when a/c is not on i put a lower set point in and the engine fan/s came on.
Stock set points are 196 and 210

SOURCE: cooling fan fuse

most likely the cooling fan has a short in it. disconnect the connector on the fan. If it doesn't blow now its the fan motor. If it still blows you have a short from the fuse to the motor. What this means is the hot wire is touching bare metal somewhere

SOURCE: My digital clock on my 2003 Mitsubishi Eclipse

I know on the GTS the fuse panel is to the left of the steering wheel (drivers door opened). If you have the same model then the radio stations are also not visible. Look for the fuse with the picture of the lit cigarette on the diagram since they are on the same circuit. Should be a blue 15 fuse.

SOURCE: I need to remove and replace the Radio in 2003 mitsubishi eclipse

I WOULD LET THE DEALERSHIP REPLACE RADIO BECAUSE BY IT BEING PART OF THEFT SECURITY SYSTEM.IF YOU DO IT YOUR SELF YOU PROBABLY GOING TO HAVE NO START PROBLEMS.THE PCM WILL GO IN THEFT MODE THINKING SOMEBODY TRYING TO STEAL RADIO OR CAR.IF DEALERSHIP FIX THEY PUT IN NEW RADIO THEN REPROGRAM IT.

Where is a Mitsubishi eclipse spyder 2003 wiper relay ?

The two relays for the front [main] wipers are part of the front ECU [engine computer] and are not serviceable separately. The front wipers are powered by a 10 amp [#22 in the relay box] battery hot fuse and a 20 amp [#18 in the junction box] & two 7.5 amp [#20 & #23 in the junction box] ignition hot fuses. The front ECU is located under the hood. It sits on top of the driver's inner fender well.

Why wont the power windows in my 2004 Mitsubishi eclipse rs work?

If this problem has to do with just one window , then the windows motor has to be replaced . If all of the windows don't work , check the power cable or the fuses : there is a fuse box under the hood .

Radiator Fan Control Circuit Malfunction. It may happen when fan relay is broken or missing. probably your fan is not operational. Can you see if it retuns when engine i warm after pushing engine hard for only few minutes? if not,

relay is under hood inside left front wheel space as far as i remember.
also please check fuses under dash column near driverside door.

I have a 2000 eclipse gt that had a bad wiring harness, we replaced it and idk if we just missed a plug or what but the only things working are the dome lights, door dinger, and power locks. the gauges...

even if you missed a plug, it should at least turn over. should not be reason why it won't start. check the fuse panels for bad fuses under dash and under hood. its possible you shorted it out when installing the harness. .good luck.... Mike

check to make sure your belts on. check to see if the cooling fans coming on.if belts on check the fuse box under the hood in the black box, while you're there in that box check your fan relay to see if its ticking when you turn the key on.if none of this helps, check or replace your thermostat.after you have repaired this problem, you can reset the computer to make that service engine light go off by disconnecting the positive cable on battery for 5mins. hope this helps!!!

I just checked my under hood fuses and the radiator fuse is missing is that normal

If it is for the radiator cooling fans, it should be there. Do your cooling fans work when a/c is on or when temp gauge climbs above normal?

2003 Mitsubishi Eclipse

Make sure there isn't a secondary fuse box like under the hood or under the dash to start. Many vehicles now have two fuseboxes with redundant fuses for the same system. If thats not it you need to get a cheap voltage meter and start diagnosing from the farthest point out til you find the place where you voltage isn't getting through. Good Luck
