Did you check you hoses? Vacuum hose may be lose? Do you lose power? Could it be a lose wire? Check your battery terminals make sure theyre connecting tight to the cables, make sure theyre boty clean and erosion free.

Check the memory fuse in the fuse box in engine compartment

Could be a large number of things so tell us more.

sounds to me like you have bad ball joints. i had the same thing happen on my truck, that was also a dodge ram 1500

Is there a download for the 2001 Dodge Ram Owners Manual? My APPS keeps resetting the trouble light even after I installed a new one and reprogramming it several times.

II got a dodge 1500 4.7. The problem is, the oil cab is all green and im losing coolant all the time, there's smoke coming out smells bad, but no check engine at all. So I took it to a shop to check it they said, it's a water pump ,I changed the water pump but still losing coolant ............ so is it head gasket, manifold gasket, valve stem seal, piston rings, or something I don't know of??

i have an 86 dodge ram 50 that sputters when i step on gas going up hill after it warms up ive changed the gasket twice with no luck solving problem it runs fine in neutral but in gear under a load it sputters

On my 99 ram 1500 it is on the right side of the tranny near the end with 2 wires that unplug. I replaced it with no lose of fluid, in 2 minutes.

Porbably not getting enough gas or dirty. My 88 dodge caravan did that too until I put a cheap fuel-injector cleaner in with the gas, and started giving it more gas even in lower gears driving around town. Worth a try...

it normally is located near the oil filter it looks like a little plug with a wire on it
