The fuel gage is inop, or stuck. Is there a fuse?

No the gage I not fused separately. The problem you have is most likely caused by a defective fuel level sending unit. The part is located inside the fuel tank which must be dropped to replace the parts.

Gas gage does not work

Could be the gage or the sender unit. Have someone take the wire off the sender unit at the fuel tank and touch it to ground If the gage goes to full tank the replace the sender unit. Could also be a broken wire from the gage to sender

Why 2000 jeep grand cherokee 47. v8 fuel gage or fuel sending unit inop how to chk and repair

Usually you will have a bad ground or a bad fuel level float which are with the pump located in the tank, if your not capable of major repair I suggest you find a repair shop. Part $100 but labor could be up to $500

Fuel gage fuse

The fuel gage shares the same fuse as all the gages, so if the fuel gage is inop and all other gages are working then you have another problem. The most common cause is that the sending unit for the fuel gage inside the fuel tank is defective, that is true 99% of the time in my 35 years of repair work.

Gas gauge doesn't work

Hello
The no. 1 cause of the gas gage not reading or reading incorrectly is that the sending unit for the gas gage inside the gas tank is defective, this is esp true on older cars and trucks, In order to replace the gas gage sending unit requires the gas tank be removed.

Fuel does not work is there a fuse? how to dianoctis? thanks marcel

the fuel gage is inop for one reason 99% of the time, that is that the fuel level sender for the gage is defective, the level sensor of course is inside the fuel tank, on this model the fuel tank must be removed to replace the fuel level sensor or sending unit as some call it.
