normally its brake fluid on the master cylinder there a hosethat goes or containr that bring oil to the master cylinder of the clutch

you'll have to reset the timing marks on cam and crank, check no1 is at TDC, and look at distrubuter to make sure it firing on no1.
if you split the hydraulic line, you'll have to bleed the line.

SOURCE: My clutch won't engage
There is a rubber plug on the bottom of the transmission bellhousing. Remove the plug and look in to see if the slave cylinder is leaking. If yes the transmission will need removed to replace it. While you are there, check the clutch disc and pressure plate and replace as needed.
