How to read check engine light "95 F 450 heavy duty truck

Should be OBD 1 which does not need a scanner. You jumper two wires at the plug in the engine compartment to make the light flash.
If you do an internet search for Ford KOEO test you should find photos and instructions including what the codes mean.

I need to replace a '95 Ford Bronco ignition switch - know of any on-line resources with step-by-step instructions?

This one is pretty easy. just unscrew the philips screws under the key area I think there are 3 or mebe 4. then remove the plastic cover. insert your existing key, turn the key 1 click and press the release button on the bottom then pull the key, the entire lock will come out, insert the new one and put it all back together.
