Although unlikely, replacing with a bad bulb can send you on a wild goose chase! Check for voltage with a VOM at the socket.

Hi!

The brake shoe might be stuck closed because of the weather. But pull the wheel of and also the drum and see whats happening inside. Good luck

Power steering just went out suddenly after being stuck on a hill because of snow?

If your drive belt is still on all the pulleys yet and turning properly but you have no power assist then the power steering pump shaft may have broken. Usually the pulley will stay in place and keep turning as usual but if the shaft is broken inside the pump you won't have any assist. I've fixed two so far this winter for this same problem this winter and both were on vehicles that were stuck or ran off of the road into the snow. On both of those you could pull the power steering pump pulley and shaft outwards quite a ways once the belt was removed due to the broken shaft. Ordinarily the pulley won't move in or out more than a fraction of an inch. If the shaft is broken then the pump would need to be replaced.

No AC in the summer, no heat in the winter. Although air blows out, its just air. Engine light comes on. Heat gauge is all the way at the bottom...doesn't move upward. What do I do and how much would it...

your thermostat is likely stuck open. Recommend you replace the thermostat. The thermostat is usually at the end of the upper radiator hose in a housing you have to unbolt from the engine. If you need instructions, please reply with your model, year, and engine size.

Blown fuses

The problem is simple and you could possibly repair it yourself. the sensor on the brake master cylinder (front side protruding down from the bottom) is shorted out. This sensor turns off the cruise control when the brakes are pushed. You only have to unscrew the old sensor and replace it with the new one. You will notice that the old sensor has has brake fluid all through out it. this is the reason for the short. BTW you will lose a little brake fluid in the process so have the new sensor ready when you take off the old sensor. I know this doesnt sound like it could possibly be the reason but it is. hope it helps
