Question about 1985 Nissan 300ZX
I removed both "working" seatbelts in my 1985 Nissan 300ZX. While out, I tried pulling the strap out, to test it, and neither one would pull out. I remounted them in the car as someone said, "there's a ball bearing that has to be in the right position to work", but still, even mounted on the car, they still don't work..... HELP!!! I redid this car as a gift for my 17 year old daughter and she's anxiously awaiting her first drive, (which was supposed to be tonight....) but now this....Helppppppp
Surely you would not let a 17 yr old drive the super car but some seat belts require a fast jerk to release the ball stop .

Its tricky but you need to pop the half circle off to get to the 14mm bolt. Then roll the window down and there is a plastic circle at the top of the door frame. Pop that off and remove the one plillips screw and pop the panel off to get to the remaining 2 10mm bolts holding the door panel on.

Changing StarterIts easy, jack the car up, secure the car with in the up position do not just rely on the jack to hold it up and you will see the starter on the passenger side of the car, its held on with 2 bolts. Disconnect the battery first, then loosen and remove the 2 bolts holding the starter in place. Slide the starter out, disconnect the wires coming from the battery. Reverse the procedure to replace the starter.
