SOURCE: How do you replace a Drivers side headlight bulb 2006 kia spectra

Helps to remove the battery, but small ahbds can do it.

Directly behind the lens is a big round cap ... twist it off. The bulb is held in place with a spring that locks in to a notch in the holder. When handling the new bulb, don't touch the glass. The oil from your skin will cause it to shatter when turned on.

SOURCE: heater problem with 2005 kia spectra . no heat and

sounds like the blower is not working, start by checking all your fuses. next is to check for power and a good ground at blower with a test light,if theres power then you may have a bad resister for the blower. thats a common problem, but if theres power and ground at the blower then you have a bad blower motor. start there hope this is helpful.

SOURCE: The heater in my 2006 Dodge Grand Caravan only

Three possibilities:

Cooling system low on coolant. This causes erratic heater operation. Fill it and troubleshoot the leak.

Heater core plugged. Find this by bringing the engine up to operating temperature. With the blower on high, feel the heater hoses going into the firewall. They should both be pretty hot. One should be a little cooler - within 20 degrees of the other. If the core is plugged, the cooler one will be alot cooler than the hot one. Please note that restricted / poor coolant flow can mimick a bad heater core but is a rarity.

Blend door system malfunctioning. This can cause warm air when airflow is low but not provide warm air with higher airflow rates.

CHECK ENGINE LIGHTS ONLY COMES ON IF THE COMPUTER PICKS UP A PROBLEM IN THE CAR. THERE ARE NEVER A FALSE REASON WHY THAT LIGHT WILL APPEAR. SOMETHING AS SMALL AS A GAS CAP LOOSE CAN TRIP THAT LIGHT. USUALLY AUTO- ZONE OR PEP BOYS WILL CHECK IT FOR FREE,BUT THEY WILL ONLY ASSUME WHAT THE PROBLEM MY BE.

SOURCE: my 2006 kia spectra speedometer

2006 kia spectra speedometer not working. Try this, I just did it and it worked. Disconnect both battery cables and touch them together for about 3 seconds, then connect them back to the battery. This causes the main computer to re-load all computer programs. It worked on my kia, speedometer now working. It also worked on my 2004 Chevy Silverado to correct an AC/Heating problem just after installing a new battery. The truck blew hot and cold air at same time with only AC on.

Have the temperature control blend door actuator checked for proper operation, it may be sticking or the door is stuck that controls the mixture of air.

The heater dose not working in kia sorento 2006

Kia tends to have rather poor heater control switches and motors. If your car has manual dials, then check any cables and fixings on the back of the control panel. These cables can come loose and fail to push and pull the armature on the heater matrix valve. If the car has an electronic climate control, then check the electric motor on the heater matrix valve as it may have failed.

2004 kia spectra has blowing air but know heat.

Heat and air conditioning are in separate systems. If you aren't getting heat, the first step is to check your coolant level. Low coolant can result in improper flow through the heater core. If you do have low coolant, be on the lookout for a coolant leak! If your coolant isn't low, then there is going to be an issue with circulation through the heater core. The heater core could be clogged in some way or another.1

The dim lights don't work on my 2006 Kia Spectra, but the brights do. What could be the problem?

Assume you're referring to 'low beams' not working? and 'high beams' are? Both circuits run they're own relays and fuses, check owners manual for locations, could be faulty relay (check by swapping with high beam relay) or blown fuse. Also find occasionally, both globes blown, high and low beam filaments in same globe
