Where is the transmission vent located. the car runs fine when cold but as soon as it gets hot the transmission begins to slip? please help

The vent is not the problem. When the transmission gets hot the valve body leaks enough fluid so pressure is no longer sufficient to apply the clutch packs completely. If this has been going on for a while then a complete overhaul with a new valve body is the only fix.

Why the transmisstion slips when the car got hot .

There is a gearbox oil cooler in the radiator and if it has not been cooling properly the transmission could have overheated and burnt out plates causing the slippage. Also you mentioned having changed the cooler- considering that it holds transmission fluid, have you refilled the transmission to its correct operating level?

If the oil level is low it can cause slippage or even the loss of drive completely. I would suggest checking your fluid level first but while doing so, have a look at the colour of it. On the dipstick, it should be red and clean. If the oil is dark and black, it is an indication that the box has got burnt out components in it and the oil is contaminated. This sediment in the oil can block the filter which will restrict oil pressure build up and stop the vehicle driving.
Unfortunately if this is the case, a transmission repair is a major job and can be costly.

Transmission slips after engine warms up

It isn't when the engine gets hot, it is when the transmission fluid gets hot that the slipping starts, due to wear of the clutches and gears inside the transmission.
First, check the fluid level to make sure it is full. If it is low, bring fluid level to full and see if that helps.
About all the owner can do with slipping automatics is trying a transmission fluid and filter change to see if transmission revives and stops slipping. The bottom pan is removed, fluid (about 6-8 quarts) is drained, and a new filter is installed before the pan is replaced with a new gasket, sealed up, and fresh fluid added. Sometimes it helps. Sometimes the transmission is worn too bad to help, and you are left with looking for a replacement transmission.
Check the fluid level first. Good luck.

Transmission slips out and when you stop and start it will only go about 15 mph if you shut it of wait a few minutes then start it transmission goes till gets hot again

The transmission probably needs a fluid and filter change. Do not use the quick lube places to flush the transmission as they do not change the filter.

Transmision slips on takeoff only

have the transmission control module check ed for flaws. and, also have the solenoids inspected inside the transmission as well for flaws. if all this checks out ok, this will confirm gear failure and , you will need a rebuild soon in this case.
