I know when my Taurus trunk was stuck, I could use a screw driver to help "jack" the trunk back into place and open. With the key turned to open, pull on the truck and try to wiggle it open, else use the screwdriver to apply leverage. Usually this is caused by either the locking mechanism being out of alignment, or the catch has moved. hope this helps
