I think what you might have is called dieseling on shut off. Newer engines run much hotter than older vehicles and require a fuel shut off solenoid close to the engine. If this solenoid goes bad, on vehicle shut off, excess fuel is still being fed to the engine. Even though there is no spark because the key is off, the engine is hot enough to ignite the fuel causing the shake and shudder. I'm not 100% sure of this but thats what it sounds like. If the solenoid is working properly and shuts off the fuel line like it should there is no excessive fuel to ignite. Thus no shake or shudder.

My issue is the Idle Air Control Motor/Valve. i have purchased the part but am not able to locate it on my vehicle. I have a 2004 GMC envoy 4wd. Anyone happen to know where this part is so I can replace...

these are located on the intake manifold near where the throttle cable connects to it.just look for a motor in this location that looks the same as your part and has the same style and number of connector and wires.

I have GMC Envoy 2004 model. since few days i have notice that if i drive in a speed more than 100 KMPH, there is a slight vibration. please advise what could be the reason...

possibly a bad u-joint. Sometimes a u joint will feel ok but if it is too tight it can cause a vibration. you will need to remove the shaft to feel if a joint is too tight and binding. Or you have a tire out of balance. Usually a driveline vibration is more of a buzzing high frequency type of vibration the kind that puts your foot to sleep and a tire is more of a wheel speed vibration which is a lower frequency vibration.

The car vibrates when it idles. It vibrates so

sounds like it has a bad motor mount, once the rubber wears out, it is metal to metal and there is nothing to coushin the vibrations from the engine.
