SOURCE: instr. panel and running lights fuse blow when headlights turn on

Do yourself a favor before taking to a dealer. Open the hood and find the fuse box. It will be on the firewall on the drivers side. Open it and fine the low beam relay. Finding it is easy. If you open your owners manual and look up relay in the index in the back of the manual there will be a listing of the relay locations. If you dont have the manual any more. A relay is a black or grey box. There are two diffrent types. The types look like a square and one looks like a rectangle. You are looking for the rectangle. The low beam relay is in the row of rectangle relays closest to the driver's side fender. Remove the two closest to the windshield. The one closest to the windshield is for high beam. Take that one and place it where the low beam is.If that fixes it go to an auto parts store and buy a replacement relay. Then try the lights. Let me know and good luck !

SOURCE: No parking lights, fuse keeps blowing.

There is a ground not connected or a wire open that is causing it to blow

SOURCE: Blows fuses when parking lights are turned on. Headlights work fine even running lights.

If it only happens when you turn the switchto the parking lights then it is most likely the swich that is the problem. Light swich failure appears to be a common fault with fords

Where is a Mitsubishi eclipse spyder 2003 wiper relay ?

The two relays for the front [main] wipers are part of the front ECU [engine computer] and are not serviceable separately. The front wipers are powered by a 10 amp [#22 in the relay box] battery hot fuse and a 20 amp [#18 in the junction box] & two 7.5 amp [#20 & #23 in the junction box] ignition hot fuses. The front ECU is located under the hood. It sits on top of the driver's inner fender well.

Cruise control not engaging

More info needed. Does this vehicle have the 4 cylinder or 6 cylinder engine. FYI, there is a technical service bulletin [TSB 06-17-001] on how to diagnose this system. It corrects wrong information listed in the service manual with new info. See

http://www.mitsupartsworld.com/Eclipse%20TSB/tsb0617001.pdf

for info on this service bulletin.

Check engine light came on cars running fine.

If the check engine light comes on there is a problem some where in the emission control system, the vehicle may seem like its running ok but there is a problem within the system which will affect the emissions

Everytime i turn my radio on the fuses blow out my dash board light and one back light in the back

Sounds like you have a short in one of the wires behind the stereo. Pull it out & look for melted wire insulation or scoring. replace the section of wiring & see if that does the trick.

that means it needs service. also probly means that something is either loose or broken wise. you were probobly receiving a service engine soon signal when you put the keys in the ignition and turn it one slot to where the car is running on battery so the radio should work. and thats where the idicators would of been going on. and you probobly didnt notice those

You need not remove your light assembly. Just open your bonnet and you'll see the compartment for the bulb in the front part. Unplug and remove plug to replace accordingly.

Ignition fuse

you have a short in the transmission control circuit. there is a good chance that because of the accident the mainharness was damaged. your transmission is locted on the drivers side so that would explain why your blowing fuses while shifting. I would start by looking at gthe main harness, and i would take it to a shop and have a diagnostic run on the transmission. please rate this...thanks
