1999 mercury villager fuse for door locks where is the one for the back door


One circuit breaker for all door locks, your lock actuator is probably bad . Would need to pull door panel off to replace it , test it first. Check for B+ power at the switch !

94 mercury villager van, passenger auto seat belt motor running continuously & seat belt won't work. Drained battery. Where is the fuse located?

Is fuse #20 in the statement above the same for a 1997 Merc. villager. My rear wind flaps; with the over the head switches, won't work. My book calls it the #20 fuse- Horn. Can you clarify?

1999 has the flip windows operated from the door switch, no overhead.

there is circuit breaker #1 and a window relay for circuit protection.

Cant find the fuse for the power windows on a 2000 mercury villager


There is a fusible link, circuit breaker, and a relay. These are probably in the engine compartment relay box, though in earlier models there was a separate little box in the engine compartment for the fusible links.

Power windows and seats don`t work vehicle won`t start


Use a test light to check all the fuses, including the master inline fuse.

Circuit Protection
Power is supplied to the seat motors through the 30A POWER WINDOW fuse. The fuse is located in the LH engine compartment fuse junction panel and is hot at all times. The circuit breaker is behind the interior fuse junction panel and prevents current overload and component damage.

Seat Belts/Front Seats


seats use heavy corrent & use relays instead of fuses. check relays in fuse panel. see chart on cover or owner manual for location.

Also, this is for 96 villager seats.
