SOURCE: Jeep Headlights not working. High beam works

had the same problem on my 92....check under the hood on the drivers side, towards the front, there is a "junction box" with all of the lighting wires connecting from the switches to the lights. My wires were all corroded inside,so I cleaned the ends and bought a new box from the local electronic supply store. The problem has not come back.

97 buick park avenue low beams off at nite

sounds familiar, I had that problem one night, started my car and the lights that are automatic didn`t come on. Well I started to check things I realized my emergency brake pedal wasn`t coming all the way up so I put the emergency brake on and then releast it and helped it come up with my foot and lo and behold my lights came on. sort of a safety feature to prevent you from putting your car in gear and going.

The right turn signal on my 1997 buick park avenue will not work. all other parts of this multi switch work

Does the front and rear light on the right side come on when you activate the switch ?
If a light is out the system won't flash.
If one side comes on and the other does not, the problem is usually in the turn signal switch.

Low beam lights will not come on unless you pull turn signal lever that turns on the high beam lights.

bad turn signal switch is my solution. if you have to wiggle or jiggle an electrical component, it;s always a bad connection, or a component going bad. be prepared to replace it.[hint] if you are going to keep the car, please but new, that way you'll not only have security, but a warranty which covers the new part] wish you the best, thank you for choosing
