I also changed the oil about 25 miles ago. I do need to change tranny fluid and filter. I was wondering if it could be the egr valve. The has 200.000 miles on it. This just has me baffled

There are couple of things you need to check there lyk the Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor, fuel pump and its relay,Intake Air Temperature Sensor and the oxygen sensor. The other things is heat range for the plug you put....are they the right plugs?

Misfire when accelerating

Year, make and model of your vehicle would help. If you can check for codes in the engine control module, it would also help in better diagnosing your possible issue and resolve.

What have you done so far as to diagnosis ? Have you checked for any vacuum leaks ? Have you checked if your coils/plugs are in good condition ? Adding as much detail information is best.

Car gets warm and starts hesitating on acceleration

Hi,
this could be something in the fuel pump. As the cold motor draws more fuel, it may just be just ok for the engine, but after it is warm, it draws less and may "suffocate" it that way. Same goes for air filter, take a peek if it is not ready for replacement. Has this happened suddenly, or has it occurrend during a long perion of time?

Hesitation , skipping, engine cuts out when accelerating

Im having the same issue I believe. I have a 94\' Chevy 1500 and when i accelerate it will jerk like the gas has cut out but it wont stall. It just jerks and slows me down. It only seems to do it when going up a hill. I feel like it could be the fuel pump or possibly some intake gaskets?
