Hi, well anything is possible, but as an old installer here are some things to check. First, depending on the size of your charger, it will take a few hours to get enough. Charge to start your vech. You might try jump starting it, or if possible, take your batt. To the local auto zone or equiv. And have them charge and check your batt. If you have an aftermarket. Alarm, that could be engaging. The starter kill.

I have a 2007 es350 didn't run it for 3 weeks battery went dead i put a trickler on for 2 hours then jumped it everything came on pushed the start button and would not crank

One thing to take into consideration is the age of your battery. In several instances, the older the battery, the less cold cranking amps they have. A trickle charger is good for keeping a battery's voltage charged however that does not really tell you if your battery has a problem. Starters require a lot of amps to turn your engine over. If you have a regular battery charger, put the battery on charge and hopefully the amps will increase. If you get the vehicle started, take it to a battery shop and they can put it on a tester and tell you if you have sufficient cold cranking amps (CCA). They may have to do a full charge on the battery to get the CCA up. If you cannot get your vehicle started and can take it to a battery shop, they can tell you the same thing without it being hooked up to your vehicle. I hope this helps. Once your battery issue is resolved and you are not going to run a vehicle for quite some time, you can keep the vehicle hooked up to a trickle charger (a good one) and your vehicle should start up every time. Be sure to remove it before starting the vehicle or driving.

Why does my battery charger only go on float charge

If you are saying the charger is staying on the very low side of charge for a dead battery .depending on the type charger you have it may be your battery is too low for your charger to get the dead battery going..sometimes I need to give a completely dead battery a jolt to get it going..if you have or know some one has a jump start type charger that puts out very high amps for starting..have them give it a few min of that high amp charge..if you have a battery where you can take the cals off you should see the cells bubbling...All cells must show some or it is shorted. Just don't let on more the a min or two...good luck

The battery went dead when I tryed to start in cold weather,I removed the battery and charged it back up, However when I put the battery back in the car started and ran for about five minutes when it shut...

You have a dead short across that fuse, The end opposite the battery will probably show a ground rather than a resistive load. You are going to have to find that short and fix it. A dead short on a 60 Amp fuse is a heavy load. That fuse is probably preventing a fire or melted harness wires.

I think your battery is dead. Check and confirm that the battery is at 12.6 volts. If it is below 10volts then put the battery on a charger or replace it.
Batteries are good for about 5years. Let me know if you need more help.
Find out why your battery went dead. Well if that is what happened.

How many amps does this charger put out????
A small trickle charger will take forever to fully recharge a dead battery, you'll need to have a battery charger that can put out enough amps to properly charge a dead battery. To clarify, the chargers sold at Sears, the large square types on wheels are the best for charging dead batteries and they also have an amp meter telling you how much the battery is accepting. After you charge your battery, you should be around 12.5 volts to 12.7 volts. DO NOT OVER CHARGE!!!

I have a '97 chevy blazer and it has been starting and driving just fine until today when I went to start it it would do nothing I mean like it is not getting any type of power what so ever the power locks...

Could be that the battery drained.. Maybe something left on 'ie - interior light or something.

Try putting a battery charger on the batt.

If you dont know someone with a chargere & have to buy one ---
( psst - you can return the charger after use )

Good luck
