Your park brake is engaged slightly or you have a low brake fluid level. Thats what I would check first

check your brake fluid for proper level if good check brake switch for fault and or brake s them selves for extreme wear or damage --also if light stays on constantly have vehicle scanned for a trouble code most auto stores offer this service for free

When handbrake is off,it beeps 3x when you start to move, then it stops, also the rear brake lights stay on why?

Sounds like you drive a Ford. Usually the parking break light is the a bad pressure switch some times I have seen a piece of garbage stuck that keeps you hand break from seating all the way to contacted the pressure switch. The beeping you hear when you start moving is just the car notifying you that the break is registered as being applied.

How to stop beeping

Sound sleek you have two problems. Check your brake fluid level immediately for the beeping and brake light on!
The check engine light is a completely different story.
I recommend you take it to a shop.

1998 nissan frontier dashboard brake light will not go out unless motor is turned off...

You have a brake light switch attached to your brake pedal, may be loose or bad.Read what it says,if bad light will stay on,easy to replace, just disconnect electrical connector, then unscrew nut, then remove, the end piece clicks on and off,I have a 85 Nissan 720 truck, have replaced mine before years ago. Brake lights will not turn off on my 94 Nissan Altima

Your problem should be that the rubber stops that are mounted at the top of your break pedal came out or are worn down too much to press the buttons all the way in.
What they do is push the button that switches off your break lights when the break pedal is released (yes, kind of backwards way to design it, i know). That's why your lights stay on even when your car is off. I had to go to the junkyard to find replacements for mine and they are a ***** to replace.
They are chipped away easily by the break switches when your car shakes badly over a prolonged period of time. Like driving a couple of weeks on a bad front tire.

Brake lights stay on continuous

Sounds like you have a jammed or bad brake light switch.  It is mounted on the brake pedal.  Check to make sure it isn't jammed somehow.  If not, you probably need to replace.  Hope this helps.

Brake lights stay on

Your brake light switch is stuck on, this is also why the cruise is in-op, the cruise is turned off anytime you touch the brake pedal otherwise the car would try to accelerate when you tried braking. The brake light switch is located above the brake pedal, look up the arm the pedal is attached to and you will see it, the switch is not real expensive, and it is easy to install with simple hand tools. As far as the door lock issue fix the brake light switch and try it, not sure it is related unless it all started at the time the brake lights started staying on. Post back after you replace the switch if door problem remains. Thanks
