NO -- cross threaded is when the bolt or nut has been installed so that the threads bind up over each other and jam
I suspect that what you are trying to ask --is the bolt left hand thread
again the answer is --no
It will be torqued to a high reading and the best tool use is a impact gun

There is a panel inside the wheel well that you can take off that gives you perfect access to the harmonic balancer. A special tool is required. i had my dad make one because he has access to whatever he needs at the factory. but you can get them at the dealer. i have no clue how much they cost. I can't see any way of doing it without the special tool. after you get the tool its pretty simple to get off. it takes alot of force to break the bolt loose though. i used the handle off my jack as a cheater bar. hope this helps...
