SOURCE: Can't find flasher for blinkers on a 92 Chrysler New Yorker.

If you have the Owners Manual for the car look up flasher and it will show you a diagram of the relays so that you know what you're looking for. I own a 1992 Chrysler New Yorker Fifth Avenue and the flasher relay is located right above your glove box on the passenger side. You have to unscrew the glovebox casing with a phillips screw driver. Once you have this unscrewed there are your fuses and two sets of relays. One relay set that you can see on the right side (this is not where the flasher relay is) and one that is up more in the dash and closer to the inside part of the car by the side of the air condition controls. This is where the flasher relay is located. You can slide the whole casing of relays up off of the metal hook that it is held on by, and then pull it down and out so that it is easier to work on. There should be two square relays and two circle relays. When holding the case of relays, the two square relays are on the left and the two circle relays are on the right, it will be the top right circle relay that is the flasher relay. This took me forever to find. I hope this helps all of you so that you don't have to rip your dash apart like I did.

1st pass 44 inch lbs
2nd pass 71 inch lbs, check the manifold joints for shifting and fix if needed
3rd pass 106 inch lbs
4th pass 11 ft-lbs

Start in the center and tighten in a criss-cross pattern.

Pattern for tighten intake manifold bolts on a 04 Chrysler pacifica


INSTALLATION - UPPER INTAKE MANIFOLD
1)Clean and inspect gasket sealing surfaces.
2)Position new gasket.
3)Install the throttle body on the upper intake (if required).
4)Install upper intake manifold and hand start all attaching bolts.
5)Tighten bolts gradually starting in the center working outward until a torque of 12 Nm (105 inch lbs.) is obtained.
6)Install the front and rear intake manifold support brackets.
7)Install the oil level indicator and oil fill tube to intake manifold bolts (Fig. 155).
8)Install the EGR tube.
9)Connect vacuum lines to the following (Fig. 156):
Positive Crankcase Ventilation (PCV) Valve
EVAP Purge Solenoid
Power Brake Booster
10)Install alternator support bracket (Fig. 156).
11)Connect electrical connectors to the following (Fig. 157):
Manifold Tuning Valve (MTV)
Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR)
Throttle Position Sensor (TPS)
Idle Air Control (IAC)
Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP)
12)Install the throttle and speed control cable bracket and retaining bolts.
13)Install throttle and speed control cables to bracket and throttle arm.
14)Install air cleaner housing and inlet hose.
15)Install the engine cover.
16)Connect negative battery cable.

Bolt torque sequence on 1991 jaguar xj6 4.0 intake manifold?


intake manifold or head gasket? i know head gasket need a sequential order followed by how many degrees and Lbs of pressure. if its on the intake i doubt it needs an specific torque. just try not to crack the intake manifold since its made of plastic.

2001 daewoo lanos dual overhead 1.6 liter head bolt torque and sequence


  1. Tighten cylinder head bolts to 25 N.m (18 ft. lbs.). Tighten bolts an additional 70 degrees plus 70 degrees plus 30 degrees using angular torque gauge .

WHAT IS THE TORQUE ON A 94 BUICK CENTURY 3.1 V6 ON THE INTAKE AND EXHAUST PUSH RODS?


Tightening sequence would be to tighten from the center most bolts to the outer most bolts.
Intake Upper Bolts = 18 lb.ft.
Intake Lower Bolts = 10 lb.ft.
Exhaust Manifold Nut = 12 lb.ft
Exhaust Manifold pipe = 22 lb.ft.
Exhaust Manifold Heat Shield = 18 lb.in.
Rocker Arm Torque Nuts = 18 lb.ft.

I have a 1989 New Yorker with 3.0 L, wanted to know the torque settings for the intake manifold , body on top of intake along with the sequence order and the valve cover, thank you.


intake manifold torque is 174 inlb
valve cover is 88inlb end to end to center opposit of intake manifold .

Need cylinder head torque specifications 2004 hyundai elantra


Install the cylinder head bolts. Starting at top center, tighten all cylinder head bolts in sequence as shown in illustration, using the Cylinder Head Bolt Wrench (09221 - 32001) or equivalent. Repeat the procedure, re-tightening all cylinder head bolt to the specified torque. (torque spec is Cold Engine 105-115 Nm (76-83 ft lb) )
. Install the timing belt tensioner pulley.
. Install the timing belt on the camshaft sprocket, making sure that the tension side is tightened by turning the camshaft sprocket in reverse, all timing marks are in alignment.
. Adjust the timing according to "Timing Belt"
. Install the rocker cover and tighten the bolts to the specified torque. Tightening torque: Rocker cover belt:

2.5-3.5 Nm (25-35 kg.cm, 2-3 ft. lbs.)

. Install the timing belt cover.
Install the new intake manifold gasket and the intake manifold. Tighten the nuts and bolts to the specified torque.
Install the new exhaust manifold gasket and the exhaust manifold. Tighten the exhaust manifold attaching nuts to the specified torque.
. Install the surge tank and tighten the nuts bolts to the specified torque.
. Install the power steering oil pump and bracket.
. Install the ignition coil.
. Install the air intake hose.
Connect the vacuum hose, fuel hose and water hose.
. Install breather hose.

Upper intake manifold with a new gasket on the lower intake manifold and torque the bolts, in sequence, to: 105 inch lbs. (12 Nm)

What are the torque measurements for the rocker arms and intake manafold?


2.2L Engine & 2.4L Engines
These engines are not equipped with rocker arms. The camshafts directly actuate the valves.

3.1L Engine & 3.4L Engines
When install or connect the check the following:
- Pushrods and the rocker arms. Torque the bolts to 24 ft. lbs. (32 Nm). - Rocker arm cover using a new gasket. Torque the rocker cover bolts to 89 inch lbs. (10 Nm).
- Heater bypass pipe. Torque the screw at the water pump to 106 inch lbs. (12 Nm), the bolt at the cylinder head corner to 18 ft. lbs. (25 Nm) and the nut to 18 ft. lbs. (25 Nm).


About the INTAKE MANIFOLD...
-
Intake manifold nuts and bolts and tighten to 89 inch lbs. (10 Nm)
- Pushrods and rocker arms. Torque the bolts to 89 inch lbs. (10 Nm) plus an additional 30 degree turn. - Lower intake manifold. Apply sealant to the threads of the bolts and torque the bolts to 115 inch lbs. (13 Nm).
