The clutch is hydraulic in your ford, there is no adjustment. try adding fluid to the reservoir its by the firewall on drivers side, if that doesn't work then your clutch is bad

There is no such thing as an electronic clutch. Assuming your talking about the clutch associated with the transmission. The clutch is engaged via a cable going from the clutch itself to the clutch pedal through the firewall. There is also a clutch quadrant under the dash (attached to the pedal) that is self adjusting. If this goes bad then you need to replace it. What is the issue your experiencing?

SOURCE: adjusting the headlight beams on a 96 mustang gt

there should be an adjuster ring attached to the headlight housing. It will likely be a hex bolt or a allen key to adjust it. There should be one for vertical tilt and one for horizontal angle. They will generally be located right by the bulb housing (where you insert the bulb into the headlight.

I have an obd11 code for my 96 mustang gt. 4.6 v8 not sure wat it means code= p0401

That code means insufficient EGR flow. The EGR valve may not be opening enough or even not at all.If you apply vaccum to the port on top of it with the engine running the engine should die, if the engine doesn`t die the valve is bad and needs replaced. If it is ok then it will need to be connected to a diagnostic computer to find the problem.Hope this helps.

I have a 2003 ford mustang gt stick shift. clutch sliping

sounds like you have a worn or misadjusted clutch, but if your clutch is self adjusting meaning a operated with hydraulic pressure (Brake Fluid) then you could have leaking slave cylinder that maybe wetting the clutch disc with brake fluid causing a slippage, or just a worn clutch, in which case you will need to inspect inside bellhousing...

83 mustang gt

In a 83 MUSTANG GT the correct answer is BOTH. As a 5.0L and a TURBO CHARGED 4 cyinder were offered.

1983 Mustang GT
  • Engine:
    • 5.0L horsepower increased to 175 HP when 4V carb replaced 2V carb from 1982 (Holley 4180C series).
    • Exhaust system was revised (less restrictive).
    • 4-speed SROD was only transmission available until early December 1982. In December, new 5-speed T5 became standard GT transmission (4-speed remained on option list).
    • Block and crank were revised to accomodate a 1-piece rear main seal in December 1982.
    • The new "Turbo GT" with a turbo charged 4 cylinder engine was available beginning late in the model year - 145 HP and featured the same suspension and other features of the V8 Mustang GT.

Intake manifold-to-cylinder head bolts for 5.0L V8:
Step 1 = 96 in-lbs Step 2 = 16  " Step 3 = 23 to 25  "
Numbers taken from an after market manual, so use at your own risk.

Drivetrain problems

you know some mustangs have an adjustment system on the clutch pedal, and might need adjustment, or if you install a rebuilt clutch instead of a new one some times they come unbalance and vibrate if you did just never again trust a rebuilt clutch kit
