Usually this problem is caused by a misfire. First check to see if all of your spark plug wires are pushed on tight. If that is not the problem, look at all of your spark plugs. If they are fine, get a volt meter and test all of your spark plug wires.
In my case, I washed the engine and some water got into one of the spark plug holes. We blew it out with an air compressor and my car was good as new!
