Security wires and sensor are in that general area, with the turn signal switch. Removing the turn signal switch doesn't bother the security part, it is on the other side of the column. But if some one jabbed a screw up in between the bezel to get it apart could have cut or broken a wire. Three wires from the ignition that are very small. You can pull on them and break them by hand. Could be other things, but since you had work done there, this is what I would check first.

Before you tear everything apart. Try a reset. Turn the key on for ten minutes, off for thirty seconds. Then try to start it. Also try to relearn if it doesn't start. ten minutes on, thirty seconds off, three times, then try to start. If still no start, Check the wires. I solder wires back together. But you can wire nut them or twist the with tape. Solder is the best though.

What causes my right turn signal to not work? Front or back!

Your worst fears are my guess. The multifunction switch has a problem and needs attention. Might not be the switch assembly, could be just a wire or the body control module. It sounds like you can easily reproduce the symptom, so a competent tech should be able to narrow down the cause quickly. A decent mechanic could fix it in an hour or two. 25316080-dz1fkxf1fwolart5ai0divhk-5-0.jpg

My crown victoria 95 will start but will not stay running. What is the cause of that? and how do i fix it?

If you haven't changed your fuel filter in a while, I would start with that.

It could also be that you have a faulty IAC (Idle Air Control). Easy to replace yourself.

What causes left turn signal to blink rapidly? And how to fix it?

If only the left signal is blinking rapidly, it indicates a blown bulb. Open the trunk and you can access the rear of the tail light assembly. Then twist and remove the bulb retainer from the assembly and change the bulb. Align the bulb retainer and twist back into position. Hope this helped and best wishes.

1990 buick lesabre turn signals don't work, hazard flashers work, bulbs are ok, running lights & brake lights work, just installed a new turn signal assembly, thought that would fix the problem, it did...

I think that your flasher is bad I believe that the 4-ways flasher is a seperate flasher unit it should be in the fuse box and look like the 4-way flasher , to find the flasher turn on the 4-ways and you can feel it or hear it flashing and lok for the flasher for the turn signals

Right turn signal on won't turn off

I had this problem and fixed it easily. It sounds like the turn signal mechanism is broken. Fortunately, the turn signal/headlight lever is a distinct separate unit that can easily be removed from the steering wheel assembly, remove 2 screws and the 2 eclictral plugs and it comes right off. Then get a new one at autostore for ~$80 or pull one off any 2g eclipse at the salvage yard for cheaper, better option and you should be back to signaling your intended turning direction in no time.

Where is the turn signal flasher?

There are 2 flashers. I read many different tips, but finally found my turn signal flasher right on top of the ash tray assembly. Take out ashtray. Remove 4 small hex head screws to remove the assembly that the ashtray slides in to. I found the turn signal flasher in a clip on the top side of that assembly
