Could be a loose exhaust system component and when the pipes get hot they expand and close the gap check all pipe joints and also if you can get someone to start it while the hoods open and you listen on the sides of the motor it could be also a loose exhaust manifold are you smelling exhaust fumes or have you been getting headaches since this problem arose or feeling a little out of it if so go to a muffler shop and let them check the vehicle your life depends on it ok but if you can feel air coming out of any pipe joint or exhaust component get it fixed asap! o.k.

Rumbling noise

This problem may be attributed to the tire rubber being hard on a cold morning and softens as the heat in the tires warm the rubber allowing them to be pliable on the road. The hard rubber generates the noise that is transferred through the hard rubber mounts and will do so until all the rubbers heat a little.

Rumble after hitting a small bump in the road

need a little more detail here.
Rumble from front? rear? left or right side?
And shake in the steering wheel?
How big a bump and how fast were you going?
Was the rumble instant after the bump?
Is it constantly making the noise or now and again?

2001 Toyota Camry. Loud rumble on start/warm-up, slightly decreasing after some drive time. Engine seems strained (with louder rumble and vibration) mostly in lower gears, accelerating and/or uphill. No...

Have you checked your oil and fluid levels in the engine and transmisson.
if it's a manual could the clutch be worn out causing the high rpm and thrust bearing noise in the clutch.

2001 toyota corolla makes rumbling sound when i start it, and when i reverse. It stops when i start driving

Thinking a motor mount, try this .Open the hood, then start it ,you should be able to see the engine from the drivers seat,at least a little.Put in reverse and then drive ,if the engine rocks more one way then the other it needs a mount changed. The mounts let the motor move maybe 1/2 an inch,if it moves much more things start to make contact, like the exhaust pipe and the body, making a rumble.
